Wedding Season Shopping Guide
Wedding season is upon us and I have ideas for outfits that will complement your protective face masks! Whether you’re hosting or attending the wedding, Wag N’ Purr Shop has options to choose from. Plus, you will be supporting the FACE Foundation with every purchase of gently loved pre owned goods from our site.
For the Bride
First of all, congratulations! I’m sure there is a gorgeous wedding dress and shoes picked out already, but we can’t forget about accessories. This floral clutch by Zimmerman from Wag N’ Purr Shop can carry the wedding day essentials and the silk makes it dressy enough to accompany you on your big day. I think that a white jumpsuit or white slip dress are fun choices for the rehearsal dinner. Try pairing the rehearsal dinner outfit with mules and a fabulous clutch like this pre owned Judith Leiber clutch.
For the Guests
Outfits and accessories may vary depending on the wedding venue and the weather. If the ceremony and/or reception will be outdoors, I’d recommend bringing a shawl (how cute is this shawl from Wag N’ Purr Shop?!) or a cute coat to keep warm. Also, if you plan on dancing at the wedding reception, don’t forget to bring a hair tie or hair pins to keep your hair in place and frizz-free. Here are some shopping guide suggestions for the ladies:
- Slip dresses - These are a closet staple in my opinion. Floral and pastel are springtime favorites, and for good reason. When in doubt, a black slip dress is always an appropriate option. I love a crossbody bag for wedding guests, such as this Nancy Gonzalez one.
- Jumpsuits - Flowy jumpsuits are a great option for wedding guests. From the wedding ceremony to the reception, you’ll be comfortable in your flattering wardrobe choice. I’d pair it with an evening bag from Wag N’ Purr Shop and stilettos.
- Clutches - Consider adding something like this Badgley Mischka clutch to your outfit. It was donated to Wag N’ Purr Shop by a generous donor and matches everything! By purchasing authentic, pre owned handbags you can support the FACE Foundation and look great while you’re doing it.
